Sam Ghansah was born and raised in Ghana, West Africa. Sam migrated to the United States in the mid eighties to pursue his musical dreams. A song writer, multi multi-instrumentalist, he has performed as a keyboard player, a rhythm guitarist for bands in Dallas Texas during the late 80’s and early 90’s.One heritage, an African reggae band, toured the State of Texas extensively.
His debut CD, “One Love System” released in 1997 feature songs such as “book of life” and ``Natty Run”, and was an international success. It was the definition of roots and culture with no compromise. His second CD “Jah had a reason” released in 1999 was awarded Chicago’s best reggae CD.
A Telecom professional, having spent most of his time in the corporate world, Sam has performed extensively in the U.S, to include London, UK and Toronto,Canada, internationally. He enjoys global recognition in the reggae world. His current release ”Something’s Wrong” is a reflection of the world we live in today, and where mankind is heading to in the future. Sadly some have benefited from a world of injustice and oppression.
